Bah, I'm still up and I should've been in bed awhile ago. I don't want to go to work tomorrow...not because I don't like my job, but I have so much I need to do around here and two days in a weekend is just not long enough to get everything accomplished. *sigh*
I'm finally getting a little inspiration for a blog design I want to work out, too, but having to go to work everyday puts a little crimp in my design time. I also am a little brain fried by the time I'm off shift and have been at a computer all day. Doesn't really put one in a creative design frame of mind. Why, oh why can't I be independently wealthy so I can pursue my hobbies?
Getting out of this park has been topmost in my mind lately, too. I'm really wanting to have a garden and get dogs, again. It's just not right to be a dog person and have no canines in your life, y'know?
This is more of a note to self, but I watched two movies yesterday and I must remember to tell you my thoughts on them tomorrow.
OK, making myself go get ready for bed.

Sorry about the glare in that picture I posted this morning. While at Atlanta Bread Co., I had my first ever bowl of French Onion Soup and I really liked it. I want to make it from scratch, so does anybody reading this have a good recipe for it? I'm dying to make my own.

I stopped in at Meiningers over at 5th and Broadway today to see if the carry a certain kind of pen that someone suggested I get. They don't, but I did see something I'd love to have: a Vincent Van Gogh action figure. It's the first produced by
Fine Arts Action Figures™ and it was selling there for $24.99 + tax. I can get it on the site for $19.99 +$5 shipping. That would save me a bit. It's more of a realistic rendition. While surfing ebay to see if any one on there had one, I found another, more comical one. This
Van Gogh figurine has two interchangeable heads (one has a bandage around his head depicting the ear whacking incident). What is wrong with me that I giggled at that one?

Marcus' friend Brad is coming for a visit in a couple of weeks. Since I've been sick, I've really let the house go to pot. I figured I'd tackle two birds with one stone and make a list of things I need to do combined with my TT list. It's not very exciting, but here are:
Thirteen Things I'm Doing The Next Two Weekends
- Get packed away the rest of the Christmas stuff.
- Tile the backsplash in the guest bathroom.
- Clean carpets.
- Find homes for the last of the storage stuff.
- Do my taxes.
- File my papers.
- Clean the oven.
Watch and return the movie Nina lent me.
- Tidy my craft room.
- Start my Hogwarts scarf.
- Dust.
Replace the multitude of dead light bulbs.
- Work on new blog design.
Update: I'm going to strike through when I get something accomplished. Let's see how I do!
